| U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Matt Bryza said in an interview with CNN TÜRK news channel that Washington did not share the views expressed by Massoud Barzani, the leader of the semi-autonomous Kurdish region in northern Iraq. Bryza also said Barzani was aware of the U.S. policy against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and was acting on his own while supporting the PKK. |
